Sun Safety Beach Event 8/8
Join the Gloucester Health Department and IMPACT Melanoma at Good Harbor Beach on August 8, 10 AM to 2 PM for a Free Sun Safety Event. IMPACT Melanoma will provide educational materials, give-a-ways, and offer a facial scan to help understand the damaging effects of the sun.
Also, check out the new Sunscreen Dispensers available for public use at Good Harbor Beach and Wingaersheek Beach.
Help spread the word of this important work to reduce the incidence of skin cancer in our community.

Join us on Saturday, April 29th from 10am to 1pm at the Rose Baker Senior Center. Do what is right for the environment and safely dispose of your unused medications properly.

One Billion Rising Event 2/14
On Tuesday, February 14th at 3 PM, the Gloucester Coalition for the Prevention of Domestic Abuse, Strong Men Don’t Bully, HAWC, the YWCA North Shore Rape Crisis Center and the Mayor’s Office invite you to join ONE BILLION RISING TO STOP VIOLENCE AGAINST WOMEN AND GIRLS.
Please wear RED and bring pots, pans, and other noisemakers to rise together and demand a change!

Dining for Diapers Fundraiser
Dine at Jalapeno’s Restaurant on December 21, 4 PM – closing and portions of your bill will be donated to The Open Door Food Pantry Diaper Fund. There will be raffles and prizes!

Vote and Vax Flu Clinic 11/8
This Election Day, November 8th, at the Gloucester High School polling site, you can also receive your annual flu shot. Clinic times are 7 AM to 10 AM and 4 PM to 8 PM.
This clinic is open to the public. Please bring your health insurance cards.
