Peter is looking for a clean up guy

Hi,

A few years back we had a bunch of “stuff” call it junk at our house in Gloucester that needed to be cleaned up: Old Docks and other Junk.  We found a really nice guy…I think his name was George that came and cleaned it all up for us.  I cannot remember his name or how to get in touch with him….Wondering if you knew as we have more stuff to clean up.

 Thanks…Pete

Hi Joey- I was wondering if you wouldn’t mind putting out one more press release to help in the sale of our 2016 Rotary calendars? I have attached a revised version of the last one I sent you. Thanks so much! Because of the last press release you put on GMG, I sold more that 15 out of state (mostly to NY). Thanks again, and have very Happy Holidays-
Cheers-

Rockport Winter Farmers Market on SATURDAY. Plus more stuff…

S.D. Kelly's avatarGood Morning Gloucester

Christmas in Rockport this year has been Christmas-ier than I can ever remember it being in the 14 years I’ve been around (now you all know that I’m 14 years old, because of course I was born a Rockport native). You will get in the spirit in spite of yourself, even if the weather is so mild it’s more like June (which is always so freakin cold here) than December.

TOMORROW the Rockport Winter Farmers Market features fresh food from actual farmers who grow stuff and have been growing stuff specifically for this market and the Cape Ann Farmers Market (next Saturday 12/19 in Gloucester!). So don’t let the farmers down and come buy fresh, local food. The market will also feature baked goods, nisu bread, pickles, fruits, granola, nuts, and more more more. 9am to 1pm at the Rockport Community House at 58 Broadway.

Tree lighting in Gloucester last weekend….tree lighting in Rockport this weekend.

Pick #1:  Christmas in Rockport

1:00 Saturday, December 5th

It is only fitting that in the incredibly quaint, picturesque, and perfect town of Rockport, Santa should arrive by lobster boat. This has been a tradition for as long as I can remember, but please note, that this year’s schedule will be a little bit different.

Santa has decided that he would like more time to linger, shop, and visit with the townsfolk so he has cleared his afternoon schedule to arrive in Rockport earlier than normal.

Santa’s boat should be arriving at T-Wharf at 1:00 in the afternoon on Saturday, December 5th. The tree lighting ceremony will begin at 4:00. That leaves a nice amount of time to shop, explore, walk our new breakwater, grab a snack or some cocoa, and maybe get some one on one time with…

Saturday 1PM The Freemantle Doctor putters into Rockport Harbor with Santa. This is earlier than the previous 50 years so make a note. 1PM. Thousands of children crammed on the docks screaming “IT”S SANTA!!!” I have not seen one fall in yet. Maybe Saturday …

Saturday 1-4PM Santa hangs out in Rockport. Pull his beard. Drink hot chocolate. Sing Christmas Carols.

Saturday 4PM The Rockport Tree lighting in Dock Square.

Saturday 7PM The GMG Christmas Party at Cape Ann Giclee. Even if you have flexilis anatidaephobia like Joey and Craig you have to stop on by. RD will be on a leash.
