Join us for the 28th Annual Cape Ann Chamber Education & Scholarship Golf Tournament at Bass Rocks Golf Club. Proceeds from this annual event benefit everything that the Chamber does to support local education including scholarships for Cape Ann high school students. The Chamber has awarded over $100k in scholarships over the years.

sports clinic hosted by Salem State University

Cape Ann Local Program of Special Olympics Massachusetts athletes participated in sports clinic hosted by Salem State University student-athletes and the Massachusetts Collegiate Athletic Conference. The clinic today has helped further special Olympics mission, by improving self-esteem, fostering acceptance and creating new friendships among its participants.

Poetry at the Cape Ann Museum

Poetry Workshop at the Cape Ann Museum

Saturday, April 29 from 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

In this workshop, former North Andover poet laureate Gayle Heney will teach participants how to write poetry using the Museum’s collections as inspiration, concentrating on the new exhibition, Charles Movalli: Cape Ann & Beyond. As time allows, participants will be introduced to poetry prompts, stanzas, quatrains, ekphrastic poetry and experimental poetry. Depending on interest, discussion of the editing process and the option to read/perform may also be included.
