The Gloucester Writer’s Center is holding a celebration and poetry read for Peter Albert Todd, Gloucester’s Poet Laureate who is gravely ill and in hospice. We will show a short video taken this past spring of Peter telling us stories of Gloucester in the 1930’s and members of the audience will read Peter’s poems and share stories with and of him. Peter, who may be there in person or if not, participate remotely via Skype or video. We will laugh and cry and enjoy the evening with Peter. We will also be take pre-orders for the soon-to-be published poetry book “Innocence of Vision, Peter Todd’s Gloucester” and a book will be ordered for everyone who donates $10 or more to The Love of Peter Todd Fund. Join us!
